This temporary exhibit will share memories of Collinwood's Euclid Beach Park, which operated in our neighborhood from 1895 through 1969. - Collinwood ReCollections, 15813 Waterloo:
Collinwood historians Tim and Mary Louise Jesek Daley bring this temporary exhibit that honors Collinwood and Collinwood School fire historical artifacts, photos, and memories.
IN THE STREET
Some of the organizations that make our city great join us this year:
- Clevelanders in Motion (YMCA of Greater Cleveland): Handing out healthy recipes, walking maps, and conducting a hula hoop making project. Staff will lead walks of the historic Waterloo route at 3pm and 5pm.
- Coit Road Farmer's Market: Our neighborhood farmer's market will be selling fresh, local produce.
- Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland: Head Start and HEAP Information
- Cuyahoga County Employment & Family Services: Kids' Health Mobile
- Empowering & Strengthening Ohio's People: Information on help for homeowners
- Euclid YMCA: Information on membership, youth and teen sports, and other programs.
- Holden Arboretum: Information, free passes, and a locust seed tree exercise for kids.
- Lakeshore/Collinwood Garden Club: Selling Flowers
- Lakeshore Co-op Preschool: Face painting and publicity
- Northeast Ohio Democracy for America: Free Speech Booth
- Northeast Shores Development Corporation: A variety of information on the North Collinwood area.
- Peace Action: Practical, positive alternatives for peace
- The Scoop on Summer: North Collinwood's Summer Guide - pick one up at the Info booth!
- WJCU 88.7fm: John Carroll University's college radio station will conduct interviews around the Fest site and give away some goodies.
